Satan and Evil in the Quran
It is fascinating to peruse the seventh section of Major Themes of the Quran. There is a bounty of data clarifying the customs and fundamentality of this contention. It is truly intriguing to see the consistent themes that go through the three significant religions. At the point when shrewdness and satan is talked about in the Quran it is regularly alluded to alongside the jinn. The jinn are the allegorical portrayal of the people. They are frequently pervaded with names, for example, satans or the Devil. There is highly produced using the rehashed explanations that satans covertly endeavor to grab news from the sky however are driven away. (Significant Themes of the Koran 121) It at that point proceeds to state that the jinn were allowed the chance to tune in to the Quran, and afterward pick the way of good or malevolence. Note that the data is given to Mohammed from God, and that it isn't recorded that the Prophet Mohammed had a contact with the jinn. In the Quran, Satan or wickedness isn't viewed as the foe of God, yet rather the opponent and foe of people. Satan can't contact God, isn't an equivalent, so satan goes after people to oppose Godââ¬â¢s order. In the Bible there is the comparable conviction that Satan is there to entice people to break Godââ¬â¢s edicts. An equal could be drawn between the Quranââ¬â¢s alerts and the Bibleââ¬â¢s cautioning to be cautious against the exercises of Satan. ââ¬Å"O individuals! Enter every one of you into harmony and don't follow the strides of Satan, for he is your show foe. â⬠(2:208) Satanââ¬â¢s power is gotten from the shortcoming of people. In the Quran the villain shows up more sly and sly than solid. . . (Significant Themes of the Quran 125) The fiend essentially welcomes individuals to make a mistake, individuals despite everything can say no. The tale of Adam and Eve is a typical topic through both the Bible and the Quran, and it represents this point well. The apple was essentially offered, maybe persuaded, however never constrained. Again the consistent theme, all individuals must prepare for the impact of wickedness, since it is tricky. The Quran regularly matches jinn to humankind, the battle between underhanded inclinations and great are in both. It subtleties why it is simple for individuals to hoodwink themselves into accepting what they are doing is only, ut in actuality is simply self-serving conduct. Satan is frequently alluded to in the plural satans in the Quran, showing its utilization for both humanity and jinns. There is no satan free of these two sorts of creatures as per the Quran, one must exist for the other to exist. Satans is additionally used to for doubters. It is said that they take in satans at the rejection of God. It is accepted that as God sends messages to his prophets, so satan sends messages to his devilish supporters. Significant Themes of the Quran 130). The subject of satan and wickedness is fascinating as it shows up in the Quran. There are numerous equals with the Bible, for example, the account of Adam and Eve. The battles of people against the allurement of malevolence, is another equal in the Quran and Bible. The Quran discusses jinns, which is unique in relation to anything referenced in the Bible. Another huge gap is the conviction that all doubters are malicious. Thus I accept there are a larger number of similitudes than contrasts.

Nazi Leaders In World War II Essays - Adolf Hitler, Nazi Germany
Nazi Leaders in World War II Numerous individuals have added to the savage treatment of human creatures, explicitly Jews, in Nazi Germany during the subsequent World War. This is a report on the harm did by a portion of the Nazi hoodlums working under the standard of Adolf Hitler. Numerous individuals contributed in Hitler's endeavor to do his 'Last Solution'. Among these individuals are Ernst Roehm, Joseph Goebbels, Adolf Himmler, what's more, Hermann Wilhelm Goering. While I talk about how they participated in World War Two, remember their activities will, and have, left a blemish on the world until the end of time. Little is thought about Ernst Roehm's youth. He was a calm kid who never went trying too hard to find something and didn't communicate contempt towards anybody, generally in light of the fact that his folks were Libertarians and never focused on the legislative issues in Germany's heartland. In school, Hitler's thoughts and ideas strongly affected Roehm's character. In spite of the fact that Roehm never graduated, he joined the Free Corps, a gathering of warriors devoted to changing shameful acts in the German government. Inevitably, Roehm began to become worn out on the Free Corp's non- brutal style, and he was enticed to be a greater amount of an extremist in government change. Hitler, hoping to enlist individual officials in his plan, at that point in it's early stages, preferred Roehm's solid nearness and character. Roehm, jobless and no place to go, joined Hitler's office. After Hitler was chosen into office a few years after the fact, he split his tyranny into various divisions. Roehm, being one of the unique officials, was picked as leader of the Sturmabteilung, or SA, ordinarily alluded to as the Brownshirts and tempest troopers. By 1932, the Brownshirts had arrived at in excess of 400,000 individuals. A wide range of men who Hitler saw fit enough to join were individuals. Among them were ex-Free Corps officers like Roehm, understudies who couldn't discover occupations, businesspeople who left business or weren't beneficial enough, the jobless, uneducated, and basic crooks. As you can it's just plain obvious, they were an exceptionally differing pack. Roehm had full control over where they exhibited and dissented. What was their motivation? None truly. They were just a thought of Hitler's to spread his fame, too as the Nazi Party's. They wandered the boulevards of Munich, regularly alcoholic, singing bigot refrains from tunes, beating anybody they thought, making a decision about just from appearance who they thought was a Jew or a Socialist. Roehm shouted to the walking storm-troopers, We will fight our approach to significance. He delighted in viciousness for the wellbeing of it's own, what's more, he is cited as saying to correspondents after they torched a genuine burger joint, in which he likewise had the left half of his nose shot off, Since I am a juvenile and devilish man, war and agitation offer to me more than request. In one occurrence, Joseph Goebbels and Hermann Goering, heads of other Nazi divisions, envious of Roehm and the rest of the Brownshirt's open prominence, despite the fact that they had more power inside, planned against Roehm and the tempest troopers. They produced letters and records to Hitler in Roehm's name, in which admissions of high injustice were composed. Numerous individuals from the storm-troopers were executed. At the point when Hitler himself came to participate in the executions, they began shouting Heil Hitler, the salute to Hitler. Hitler understood that the reports had been fashioned, and let the rest, including Roehm go free. Hitler and the tempest troopers never discovered who had kept in touch with them. Another episode of an a lot more prominent extent was 'the evening of long blades', on June 30, 1934. Hitler cut off relations with all his individual branches aside from the SS. He let most of all go, aside from individuals from the tempest troopers. They were all executed, and Roehm demanded that Hitler murder him. He felt some other individual to execute him would be viewed as unfaithful to Hitler and an undignified demise. Hitler murdered him and in all of World War Two Ernst Roehm remained the main individual to bite the dust by Hitler's slugs. Another partner in crime of Hitler's, Joseph Goebbels, conceived in 1897, in Rheydt, Germany and the child of workers, likely had the most impact on Germany's general public and open life. A youth bone infection hindered his development, so he didn't develop more than

Sodium (Na) :: Science Chemistry
Sodium (Na) Sodium has a nuclear number of 11 and a mass of about 23g. It is a shiny white-metallic component ordered under the soluble base metals. Sodium has been known since early occasions and was utilized by the individuals of Mesopotamia and Egypt to make glasses. Sodium is the 6th most normal component found on the earth. It is typically not found in nature yet more regularly in mixes, for example, salt (NaCl). Sodium conducts warmth and power without any problem. Without this component life couldn't exist. Each compound is utilized for a specific explanation. About 2.8 percent of the world's outside layer contains this component making it the 6th generally regular in the world's covering. Sodium is found in mixes among dry lake beds, underground, and just as in seawater in such places as: Belarus, China, France, Germany, India, Russia, Ukraine, United Kingdom, and the United States. Sodium is a very artificially dynamic component. Whenever joined with water it will in general respond overwhelmingly. For instance . Since, sodium is such a perilous component it must be maneuvered carefully and put away impermeable importance without oxygen. Sodium was first separated into unadulterated structure in 1807 by an English scientist known as Sir Humphry Davy. He utilized the procedure of electrolysis where an electrical flow is gone through a liquid sodium compound, for example, sodium chloride, sodium was first separated into its unadulterated structure. Numerous makers today despite everything use power to acquire sodium. Sodium is still except ionally produced for some modern and business employments. Sodium has business utilizes just as mechanical employments. From cleansers to composts, sodium is utilized to make water conditioners, materials, and is utilized just as to assuage stomach corrosive, sodium bicarbonate: a white crystalline feebly antacid salt NaHCO 3 utilized particularly in preparing 1 powders, fire quenchers, and medication. (Definition from Structure and Matter, Glossary) Picture takers use sodium thiosulphate: a hygroscopic crystalline salt Na 2 S 2 O 3 utilized particularly as a fixing operator (Definition from Structure and Matter, Glossary)and a decreasing or dying specialist to fix photographic pictures on paper. Sodium in its unadulterated structure additionally has modern uses, for example, in impetus which help in making engineered elastic. Sodium is joined with different metals to create titanium zirconium and numerous different synthetics. 4 Ways to Give Back to Your Community This Summer
Make a Difference in Your Community By Volunteering This Summer Volunteer work can be a valuable opportunity for high school students to gain hands-on skills, expand their horizons, and make an impact. Between test prep and summer activities, it may feel challenging to find time in your summer schedule for community service, but most students would agree that itââ¬â¢s well worth the effort. If you are interested in deepening your volunteer experience over the summer, itââ¬â¢s important to do your research and seek out opportunities that relate to your interests and goals. Keep reading for some tips on how you can give back to your community this summer. Use Your NetworkFor students with little to no volunteer experience, it can be challenging to pinpoint how to search for opportunities. While there are many options, one great start pointing is reaching out to the people around you. Check in with friends to see what kind of volunteer work they do and get in touch with the coaches and leaders of any extracurricular activities you participate in. Often the most meaningful community service work is an activity that relates back to a cause you are passionate about, so using your own interests and connections can be a great place to start. Come Back to Your SkillsIf youââ¬â¢re a computer whiz or talented pianist, consider putting your skills to use to give back to your community. Look for opportunities to teach something you are passionate about to a group of people who may not have as much access to your favored activity. Whether itââ¬â¢s teaching basic computer skills at a local senior citizen center or working with young students at a music school, seek out opportunities to share something you love with others. Think SmallYou donââ¬â¢t need to lead a foundation or travel across the world in order to give back and make an impact. Some of the most meaningful volunteer opportunities are those that are closest to you. Look for small ways to get involved in your local community, such as working at an animal shelter, getting involved in any recycling or restoration initiatives, or participating in a child mentorship program. In order to open your eyes to these types of opportunities, read your local newspaper and research organizations in your area that are looking for volunteers. Get EntrepreneurialIf you have a clear idea of how you wish to make an impact but donââ¬â¢t see any opportunities that align with what you envision, consider forming something on your own. Students who are really passionate about a cause and eager to think outside of the box may choose to create their own volunteer opportunities or new ways to make an impact on their community. Again, it can be helpful to come back to the skills and interests you have and the causes you wish to support. A student who loves arts and crafts may choose to start their own line of jewelry and donate the proceeds to an organization they find meaningful while an aspiring chef might decide to do something similar with food. Donââ¬â¢t be afraid to get creative and develop your own initiatives and opportunities that relate to your interests and passions. Whether you choose to get involved in a pre-established organization or create something entirely your own, the summer can be an excellent time to explore new ways to give back and make an impact. If you are currently preparing for the college application process and looking for more activity ideas, our team of expert counselors can make suggestions tailored to your passions and goals.

The Physics of Acoustic Guitar - 800 Words
The Physics of Acoustic Guitar Everything in the universe involves some type of physics. Even the universe itself does, but have you ever wondered about the physics of simpler items? Physics is vital for all musical instruments, if it wasnââ¬â¢t; they probably wouldnââ¬â¢t produce the beautiful sounds that they do. One of these instruments is acoustic guitar. By looking at the instrument, it doesnââ¬â¢t look very complicated, but if you delve deeper into its composition, youââ¬â¢ll find that itââ¬â¢s very complicated. Physics takes part in the making of acoustic guitars, all the way to how it produces its beautiful music. Before you can understand the physics of playing the guitar, you must first know the brief history of it. The guitarsââ¬â¢ history can beâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦The strings can be made nylon or steel, nickel, and bronze. What particular kind of string one uses usually depends on the type of chords that are being played. When the strings are plucked and played, the air around them vibrates, hence creating a sound wave. The mass, length, and tension of the strings are what creates the frequency in which the guitar makes. The tuners at the head of the guitar can change the tension of the strings, this in turn, changes the frequency, which is the rate at which the vibration occurs. For example, if the strings are heavier they will vibrate slower and the pitch will be lower. The pitch will be higher if the tension of the strings is tighter. The frequency also depends on the length of the string that is free to vibrate. When playing, you can change this by holding the string firmly against the fret board with a finger (Wolfe). The strings themselves hardly make any noise when plucked. They disrupt very little air since they make less contact with the other air molecules. However, if the string is attached to a large object, more air is disturbed. In this case, the string forces the larger object to begin vibrating at the sam e frequency as the string. Now that a larger area is disturbed, this means that more air molecules are being vibrated. When all the molecules are vibrating at the certain frequency of the string, then the sound is produced. The frequency at which theseShow MoreRelated Physics of an Acoustic Guitar Essay1756 Words à |à 8 PagesPhysics of an Acoustic Guitar I have been watching my husband play the guitar in a band for five years and he has made it look so easy to make such beautiful music. Accounting Decision Making Genesis Energy Limited
Question: Discuss about the Accounting Decision Making for Genesis Energy Limited. Answer: Introduction AGL Energy Limited is a publicly-listed company on the Australian Security Exchange. It is engaged in generating the power and electricity from the power stations which uses "thermal power, natural gas, wind power, hydroelectricity and coal steam gas sources. The company was established in 1873, in the name the "Australian Gas light Company." It has it headquarters in North Sydney, New South Wales Australia. It provides services like Electricity Generation, Distribution, Retailing and natural gas distribution. It also has huge investments in the supply of the electricity and gas. It is one of the largest "private owners" and also operating and developing renewable energy assets (Agl.com.au 2016). Genesis Energy Limited is currently known as Genesis Power Limited is public listed company listed company on the Australian Security Exchange. It engaged in the electric generation, natural gas, LPG retailing, and providing electricity. It was formulated as part in 1989-99 in the new Zealand electricity sector. It has been taking the retail client from the boards in lower North Island. Genesis is the biggest electricity and retailer of the natural gas, in New Zealand. It is ranked as the third largest electricity generation regarding Mega Watt in all over the New Zealand (Genesis Energy NZ.2016). Analysis of the Financial Statements As per the financial statement of the AGL Energy Limited and Genesis Energy Limited the company shows huge variation in each and every portion of the Financial Statement (Brigham Ehrhardt 2013). The Statement includes the cash flow statement, Income Statement, and Balance Sheet. AGL comparatively has the most non-current asset as compared to Genesis which is 74%. The current assets also show 90% variation in the i.e. AGL has some current Assets (DeFusco et al., 2015). Total current liabilities also show a similar variation with 86%; this shows that the Genesis has comparatively low liability or debt to pay its debtors. The research also shows that Net income or the profit of the company is comparatively high that is profit earned by the AGL is more than the Genesis; it is 50% more than the Genesis. So let's also compare the sales and cash element sale is 80% more, and cash is 90% more than Genesis. Further moving on with the research the total assets, liabilities and Equity is also comparatively high with 77%, 75%, and 79% respectively. All the criteria as compared to the AGL is good and sound as compared to Genesis but in respect of the outstanding share Genesis has less no. of an Outstanding share which shows a good sound (Henry Robinson 2015). Measurement and analysis of the Ratio This section includes analysis and measurement of the ratio which is Profitability, Liquidity, Capital Structure and Market performance are as follows: Profitability ratio Under this category there are many ratios but for our study, we need only to calculate only Net Profit Margin Ratio and Return on Asset and the formula of which is given below As per the calculation AGL has Net Profit Margin Ratio in 0.02 and Genesis has 0.05. Return on asset of AGL is 0.01 and Genesis are 0.03. It represents that the capacity to generate profit in its operational profit and return on its assets of Genesis is better (Innocent et al., 2013). Liquidity Ratios Under this category, there are many ratios but for our study, we need only to calculate only Current Ratio and Quick Ratio and the formula of which is given below- As per the calculation, a Current Ratio of AGL and Genesis are 1.46 and 1.12 and Quick Ratio of AGL and Genesis is 0.91 and 0.67 respectively, which implies that the capacity of the AGL to pay the current long-term liability is more than that of the Genesis (Patel 2016). Capital structure Under this category there are many ratios but for our study, we need only to calculate only Debt to Equity Ratio and Equity Ratio and the formula of which is given below As per the calculation Debt to Equity Ratio of AGL and Genesis is 0.80 and 0.93 and Equity Ratio is 0.56 and 0.52 respectively (Jankowski et al., 2015). This show Genesis has comparatively more Debt as compared to Equity and AGL has more share of Equity as regarding the Asset of the Company. Market performance- Under this category, there are many ratios but for our study, we need only to calculate only Earning per share and Dividend per and the formula of which is given below Earnings per share = ( Net Income/ No. of outstanding Share) Dividend Per Share = Payout Ratio * Earning per share As per the scenario AGL 0.33 has comparatively EPS more than Genesis 0.10 and Dividend Per Share is also more AGL 0.59 and Genesis 0.08. AGL is having comparatively good paying dividend and return capacity more (Lartey et al., 2013). Recommendation As per the quantitative analysis, AGL is giving the high return as well the good dividend so the investment should be done on it. Genesis is not the company for doing investment and getting invested (liquidity ratio2014). The competitors of the AGL and Genesis are not so much competitive to be invested. But as it is looked into the scenario AGL is company for getting invested as compared to Genesis as well to its competitors (Malek et al., 2012). Conclusion Finally to conclude it is said that the financial position of the AGL is very sound as compared to the Genesis. In each and every aspect the AGL is found to be the gainer as well as in the better position. Regarding the getting return as well as of debt paying capacity AGL is the gainer in each and every area. Instead of being the largest producer of electricity in the New Zealand which is 14%, as compared to its competitor it still does not have a good position in the global market for getting the investment opportunity. The Big Bang Theory Essays (1236 words) - Physical Cosmology
The Big Bang Theory It is always a mystery about how the universe began, whether if and when it will end. Astronomers construct hypotheses called cosmological models that try to find the answer. There are two types of models: Big Bang and Steady State. However, through many observational evidences, the Big Bang theory can best explain the creation of the universe. The Big Bang model postulates that about 15 to 20 billion years ago, the universe violently exploded into being, in an event called the Big Bang. Before the Big Bang, all of the matter and radiation of our present universe were packed together in the primeval fireball?an extremely hot dense state from which the universe rapidly expanded.1 The Big Bang was the start of time and space. The matter and radiation of that early stage rapidly expanded and cooled. Several million years later, it condensed into galaxies. The universe has continued to expand, and the galaxies have continued moving away from each other ever since. Today the universe is still expanding, as astronomers have observed. The Steady State model says that the universe does not evolve or change in time. There was no beginning in the past, nor will there be change in the future. This model assumes the perfect cosmological principle. This principle says that the universe is the same everywhere on the large scale, at all times.2 It maintains the same average density of matter forever. There are observational evidences found that can prove the Big Bang model is more reasonable than the Steady State model. First, the redshifts of distant galaxies. Redshift is a Doppler effect which states that if a galaxy is moving away, the spectral line of that galaxy observed will have a shift to the red end. The faster the galaxy moves, the more shift it has. If the galaxy is moving closer, the spectral line will show a blue shift. If the galaxy is not moving, there is no shift at all. However, as astronomers observed, the more distance a galaxy is located from Earth, the more redshift it shows on the spectrum. This means the further a galaxy is, the faster it moves. Therefore, the universe is expanding, and the Big Bang model seems more reasonable than the Steady State model. The second observational evidence is the radiation produced by the Big Bang. The Big Bang model predicts that the universe should still be filled with a small remnant of radiation left over from the original violent explosion of the primeval fireball in the past. The primeval fireball would have sent strong shortwave radiation in all directions into space. In time, that radiation would spread out, cool, and fill the expanding universe uniformly. By now it would strike Earth as microwave radiation. In 1965 physicists Arno Penzias and Robert Wilson detected microwave radiation coming equally from all directions in the sky, day and night, all year.3 And so it appears that astronomers have detected the fireball radiation that was produced by the Big Bang. This casts serious doubt on the Steady State model. The Steady State could not explain the existence of this radiation, so the model cannot best explain the beginning of the universe. Since the Big Bang model is the better model, the existence and the future of the universe can also be explained. Around 15 to 20 billion years ago, time began. The points that were to become the universe exploded in the primeval fireball called the Big Bang. The exact nature of this explosion may never be known. However, recent theoretical breakthroughs, based on the principles of quantum theory, have suggested that space, and the matter within it, masks an infinitesimal realm of utter chaos, where events happen randomly, in a state called quantum weirdness.4Before the universe began, this chaos was all there was. At some time, a portion of this randomness happened to form a bubble, with a temperature in excess of 10 to the power of 34 degrees Kelvin. Being that hot, naturally it expanded. For an extremely brief and short period, billionths of billionths of a second, it inflated. At the end of the period of inflation, the universe may have a diameter of a few centimetres. The temperature had cooled

Beginning in 1939, these battles caused massive destruction and loss of life and elevated to prominence places that had previously been unknown. As a result, names such as Stalingrad, Bastogne, Guadalcanal, and Iwo Jima became eternally entwined with images of sacrifice, bloodshed, and heroism. The most costly and far-reaching conflict in history, World War II saw an unprecedented number of engagements as the Axis and Allies sought to achieve victory. The battles of World War II are largely divided into the European Theater (Western Europe), Eastern Front, Mediterranean/North Africa Theater, and the Pacific Theater. During World War II, between 22 and 26 million men were killed in battle as each side fought for their chosen cause. Marketing - Essay Example A brand is said to be enjoying a strong position only when it has a valued place in the mind of a customer and that place is so unique and credible that a competitor would not be able to replicate it easily. Starbucks has been able to immune itself from rival onslaughts by effectively highlighting the points-of-difference and points-of-parity with competition and projects itself as a special place that promises not only exquisite coffee but also an ambient and benevolent environment ideal for free flow of opinions and languid conversations. However, it must be mentioned that my initial attraction towards Starbucks was essentially due to the perfect coffee served almost instantaneously by a brightly smiling attendant. If the basic product Starbucks served was not up to the quality it promised, all promotional campaigns would have surely had a negative and perhaps hostile reaction from me. The associated benefits of a fabulous ambience later became more visible and I have spent hours i n a Starbucks outlet sipping coffee and browsing the internet on my laptop courtesy uninterrupted and lightning fast Wi-Fi connections that are available for free.

Security Frameworks Comparison - Case Study Example Therefore, COBIT acts as a supporting toolset that enables managers to bridge the gap between technical issues, control requirements and business risks. The business orientation of the Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology consists of linking business goals to IT goals, providing maturity and metric models to measure their success and identifying the associated obligations of business and Information Technology process owners. The unique nature of COBIT is that: its focus is illustrated through a process model that subdivides Information Technology into 4 domains and 34 processes in line with the responsibility areas of planning, developing, running and monitoring, providing the much needed view of IT (Brand, 2007). Founded in the year 1901, the National Institute of Standards and Technology is one of the US oldest physical science laboratories. NIST measurements support the smallest of technologies to the largest and most complex of human made creations. Much of its developed technology ranges from earthquake resistant skyscrapers to wide-body jetliners to world wide communication networks. The lab assists the industry in the development of technology that helps in: improving product quality, modernization of the manufacturing processes and facilitation of rapid commercialization of products based on current scientific discoveries (NIST monograph, 1900). Data security standard (PCIDSS) is one of the security standards offered by PCI security standards council. The PCI data security standard (PCI DSS) provides an actionable framework for building a full-bodied payment card data security process which comprise of detection, prevention and appropriate reaction to security incidents. Evidence of Bergmanââ¬â¢s Rule in Indigenous Inhabitants of Different Climates Essay Example for Free
Evidence of Bergmanââ¬â¢s Rule in Indigenous Inhabitants of Different Climates Essay From a laymanââ¬â¢s point of view, Bergmannââ¬â¢s Rule could be quiet evident in the differences of anatomical physiques of people near the equator and inhabitants of the arctic region. Nordic and Eskimos have relatively larger body mass than the indigenous peoples of the Congo or Papua New Guinea. There are other noticeable differences as well. One of these is postulated by Allenââ¬â¢s rule which states that populations of a geographically widespread species living in warm regions will have longer extremities (arms and legs) than those living in cold regions. On other species, Peter Mayhew came up with the following finding that for bird species, there was a pattern on the variables associated with latitude and body size, though not ubiquitous, that would reinforce Bergmannââ¬â¢s Rule (Mayhew, 2006, p. 70). Method Sabri Can ERDOÞAN, Yalà §Ã ±n ARI, Yunus Emre Ãâ¡ALIK This study will be conducted in quantitative method. We will collect data from two different tests to determine the correlation between two different variables. Therefore, "Correlational Designâ⬠is most appropriate design for our study. Sampling type of this study is Cluster sampling because it provides us to save travelling time and consequent reduction in cost. In this perspective, our participants are university students in Istanbul. We will list all universities in Istanbul and randomly select 3 state universities. Ethnicity, religious, social status and race varieties of the students in state universities pushed us to select participants from state universities. We will use 50 participants from each university and total number of participants will be 150 university students. Those 50 students will be selected conveniently. We will try to find out correlation between religiosity and acceptance of evolution theory. Since we have two different variables, we will use different instrument for each. These instruments consis...

The birth of the camera phone happened on June 11th, 1997...
The birth of the camera phone happened on June 11th, 1997 when Phillippe Kahn used to a cell phone to send a picture of his newborn daughter to more than 2,000 people around the world. There was no proper device known as a camera phone before this, so Kahn hacked together a digital camera and a cell phone in order to send the photos in real time. Kahn later began LightSurf, a company that was hugely influential in picture messaging. LightSurf technology is still being used by Sprint, Verizon, and many other major carriers around the world. Today is an age of instant information. With a reach into most peoples pockets, they have instant access to world, local, and personal news; a tool to capture memories, and share them with friends, orâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦On the August 25th, 2012 Alex Nott was leaving a coffee shop outside of the Empire State Building, while on holiday from his home in the United Kingdom. As he was leaving the coffee shop, he noticed the sound of pops and people beginning to run, when he saw police gun down a man who had shot and killed his former employer, who was exiting the Empire State Building. Nott reached for his phone and began filming the aftermath of what he had just witnessed and then uploaded his perspective on what had just happened through the CNN iReport App, along with hundreds of other CNN iReporters. CNN was able to use the footage and later interview Nott on what he had witnessed and create a story about the incident. With the push of a button and being in the right (or wrong) place at the right (againâ⬠¦ or wrong) time, the media has given the power of journalism to the people. Anyone with a smart phone can essentially become a reporter. Now, whether this style of reporting is truly journalism is debatable, but that goes for mainstream media as a whole in this day and age. So does it take a college degree and an expensive camera to be a photojournalist? Two war photographers, in the same conflict, using two different mediums of photography to tell their extremely similar stories; David Guttenfelder and Erin Trieb. Guttenfelder used a ââ¬Å"Polaroidâ⬠filter app with an iPhone to
